The prints on the Late Set are made to crack. We screen-print our halftone photos with a soft, flexible ink and let it break up a little with every wear, the way a favourite gig tee does after a few years in rotation. A crack is character. A peel is damage. Here is how to keep it on the right side of that line.
Turn it inside out
Most wear on a print happens in the wash, when the ink rubs against zips, buttons and other fabric. Turning the Halftone Boxy Tee inside out before it goes in protects the surface and keeps the dots sharp for longer.
Wash cool, dry flat
Heat is the enemy of screen-printed ink. A 30°C wash with a mild detergent is enough for everyday wear. Skip the tumble dryer and dry the piece flat or on a hanger in the shade. Direct sun can fade both the cotton and the print over time.
Never iron the print
If a tee needs pressing, iron it inside out on a low setting, or lay a cloth over the print. A hot iron straight on the ink can melt it and leave a shiny patch that will not come back.
Let it age
The Soundcheck Washed Long Sleeve is pigment-dyed, so the cotton itself softens and fades a little with each wash. That is by design. Combined with a slowly cracking sleeve print, it should look more like yours every month you wear it.
Quick checklist
- Inside out, every wash
- 30°C or cooler, mild detergent
- No tumble dryer, no bleach
- Iron inside out on low, never on the print
Treat your prints this way and they will crack in the right places and stay put everywhere else.
